We are a trusted name in San Diego with over forty years of industry experience and have maintained the same California State License for more than 33 years.
I started working in the construction industry as a framing apprentice just weeks after graduating high school in the year 2000. I caught on to the trade very quickly and within 2 years was offered a gig to work on my own at a piece rate building track homes in Temecula. The money and work was good but I was passionate about learning more and advancing my career in construction.
My uncle, Tom Fite started his own business in the patio construction industry in 1973 at the age of 19. Tom grew his business reputable and well known construction company and was always looking for quality minded craftsmen with passion and integrity. Tom contacted me in 2003 to see what the patio industry was all about. I agreed to work with Tom starting in 2003 and within 6 months time he put me in one of his company trucks as a full fledged installer. By 2006 I was manager of Tom Fite Patios.
In Jan 2013 I passed my class B general contractors license test and began working on my own. I now had my own business doing lots of remodeling and at the same time building a few patio covers for Tom as well as training employees for him. My general building license is still current and active today. In 2016 Tom asked me if I’d like to buy his company so he could retire after 43 years. My answer was an immediate Yes and the deal was done.
I strive to keep the business operating just as he always did to keep the reputable and well known name in the patio industry.
